THE CHALLENGE

Making a broad subject easier to explore.

The design challenge was to present a wide range of educational subjects in a structure readers could follow. The site needed to introduce the brand clearly while giving visitors direct routes into relevant articles.

Its content spans topics such as thyroid health, diabetes, nutrition and everyday chemical exposure. A single undifferentiated feed would make those subjects harder to discover. The website also needed space for an author introduction and further resources, without interrupting the reading journey.

OUR APPROACH

A clear journey from introduction to reading.

We delivered a website that separates the main reading paths into distinct pages and sections. The homepage introduces the platform, highlights articles and provides calls to action that lead visitors into the blog library.

Topic categories give the article collection a navigable structure. Article cards pair imagery with titles and previews so visitors can choose what to read next.

The About page gives the author profile its own space, presenting education, professional background and outreach information in grouped sections. The Contact page provides a separate route for enquiries.

The current website also includes an ebook destination and a dedicated book feature. These keep author resources connected to the educational platform while giving them a distinct presentation.

THE OUTCOME

A dedicated home for the brand and its content.

The completed project gives The EDC Doc a live website where visitors can move between the brand introduction, articles, author information and contact page.

The current site demonstrates the platform in use, with published posts grouped by subject and clear routes to further reading. Its outcome is a complete website experience that brings the client's content and resources together under one identity.

Design and content structure.

The visual presentation combines green brand colours, generous headings and light content sections. Distinct backgrounds separate the homepage's reading, book and FAQ areas, while consistent navigation ties the pages together.

  • Homepage introduction with animated slides and reading links.
  • Blog listing with topic categories and individual article pages.
  • Author profile with clearly grouped background information.
  • Ebook and contact destinations within the main navigation.
  • FAQs and a newsletter signup area on the current homepage.
